THIS is a somewhat unconventional post, but I’m hoping someone can solve a mystery that has gone unsolved for months.
Out on the blogosphere is a set of photographs that are tagged “IR,” “Awards,” “London” and “Investor Relations.” They were taken on June 22, 2004 and uploaded 18 months later to the flickr photo-sharing site by a user named “MraP.”
One of the photographs is labeled “self-timer” so it probably includes the camera’s owner. It looks like a group of people having fun at an investor relations awards gala in London.

I’ve been bumping into these photographs on Technorati, the RSS and blog search engine, for more than a year and have often wondered who these people are.
Out of all of the photographs on flickr, they are almost the only ones tagged “investor relations,” which means the folks in the photographs are ambassadors of sorts for the IR profession.

If you can solve the mystery, please let me know.
